REMIC RE7100 RESHAPE microphone

The REMIC RE7100 RESHAPE is a high definition condenser microphone designed for studio and live productions. It delivers a natural and open sound and fast transient response. It captures the finest and most delicate overtones of the instrument with an astonishing accuracy.

Directionality

With an omnidirectional polar pattern, it is recommended for studio and live performance requiring moderate amplification. The microphone is perfect for chamber music, classical repertoire, orchestra amplification, jazz and folk music as well as soloists. The microphone has a moderate isolation against bleed from neighbour instruments and ambient noise.

The REMIC RE7100 RESHAPE is designed as an instrument microphone for use on strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass) as well as brass instruments. A variety of mounts for strings and brass instruments are available as well as a pencil holder mount, which allows you to use the microphone with a microphone clamp on a standard microphone stand.

Full Flexibility to switch between Instruments

The REMIC RESHAPE product series is designed for customers who need the flexibility to use the microphone with several different instruments such as rental companies, concert halls, sound engineers and multi-instrumentalists. The REMIC RESHAPE product series design is based on years of collected customer feedback from the use of the original REMIC instrument specific microphones for violin, viola, cello, double bass and brass instruments.

The demand for a product series with the flexibility to use the microphones on different instruments led to a new additional very flexible product series, which literally lets you “reshape” your REMIC by replacing the mount part with a mount for a different instrument. The REMIC RESHAPE series is developed without compromising the instrument specific aspect, which is the philosophy, which REMIC MICROPHONES was founded on. The microphone needs 48V of phantom power.

The REMIC RESHAPE Microphones and Mounts allow for full Flexibility with Instrument specific Aspects:

  • The well-known direct and natural REMIC sound, full of nuances and a fast transient response.
  • Extended signal-to-noise ratio.
  • Discrete mounting, almost hidden on the string instruments.
  • Robust cable covered in a woven cotton fabric to avoid noise, when the cable touches the instrument, a chair or microphone stand on stage.
  • The fast, easy, consistent, instrument specific mount design.
  • Direct XLR connection.
  • Full flexibility to use the REMIC RESHAPE microphones on different instruments.
  • Full flexibility to use the REMIC RESHAPE microphones with a distance from the instruments with the pencil holder.
